LG G3 replacement battery

I noticed the past few days that my LG G3's screen has started lifting. I Googled a bit, and some sites suggested the battery. I opened the phone, took the battery out, lo and behold, it was swollen, pushing the screen out. The problem is that this is a generic replacement battery I bought perhaps 4 months ago, and already it's fcked. The reason I bought generic is because I could not find a store which stocks the genuine LG product.

I've seen them on BidOrBuy, but that's about it.

Does anyone in the Cape Town area know of a store which stocks GENUINE LG G3 batteries?

Enquired at a LG store? Perhaps they can point you in the right direction. If you buy a generic battery again check the manufacture date. Shouldn't be much more then 1 year ago.

Yeah, I phoned them from a number on the website, got put on hold, transferred to another guy, and he could not help me :erm:

Anyway, I took my old battery that was in my car's glove compartment , put it back in, switched the phone on, and saw that after months, it was still on 96%. I charged it up, and it lasted longer than ever :wtf:

So now I'm using that battery again :crylaugh: Damn self-healing electronics.
