hi guys,

i'm taking out a smartplan 150 from telkom. i really want to keep costs to R350-ish as i already have too many contracts with other operators.

i'm stuck between the beat and the stylus.

can anyone pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease help/advise?? cause i'm sick and tired of reading online reviews. need opinions from folks who have actually handled one/both.

The Beat. I spent today going through the same questions. The stylus is just that, no extra functionality. The Beat has extra ram, better DPI.
 
Does your wife have any problems with the battery? The Stylus battery is much bigger.
 
The g4 stylus from tm is the 8gb model which is limited
 
Cool. Thanks for the opinions. Does anyone know if the TM Beat is the same model that comes with the extra leather back?
 
Vodacom has the stylus for R199. It's includes an extra 3000mah battery.
 
Got the Stylus, 3 days ago. Had an 32gb SD card, everything automatically installs to SD, so that's fine. Keeps the 3.5GB internal free for system updates etc.
Also, it updated to Marshmallow just after I switched it on. Snappy and bigger screen. Over 2 days on a charge.
