LG G6 smartphone will not be modular

The problem with the G5 is the poor build quality.

The V20 is just under-marketed.

The way to be relevant as a non-premium brand:
1. copy the fragile little "fairy phones" and hope you get market share, or
2. be cheaper (tough to do against the chinese), or
3. Have a really solid build quality and practical features
- strong all metal phones (real metal not G5 metal)
- large batteries (no more under 4500mah)
- expandable storage
- make the phone easy to repair
- Stock android with no skin

Basically, take you existing V20 and fill out the body to the camera bump with battery. That should be about 5000mah, a phone thinner than 1cm is nearly pointless. Then make it have dual front speakers and add waterproofing.

i.e. become the Thinkpad of phones.

This ^^^

LG's are perceived to be inferior because they refuse to make high quality metal phones.Also they sometimes rush to be first with a feature without making sure it's ready like their QHD screens which on the G3 had pathetic washed out contrast and grey blacks.

Overheating and poor battery life didn't help either.
