Got this phone a week ago.
Comes with KitKat.
Searched the web for info on how to install apps to sd card & ran into a blank.
Anyone know how I can move or install apps to sd card?
16GB card kind of useless atm.

Where have you been the last year? Google made a change to android Kit Kat wrt sd cards. On Android Lollipop they reverted the changes and that fixed many bugs I had on my GNote 1 like copying large amounts of data from internal memory to sd card and listening to local music hours on end works now again. This device feels brand new now.

You can try to physically move the files to the SD card, and then execute/create shortcuts with a file manager. Only background services are a pain but games should be good

So change to lolipop.
Installed an app called foldermount, havent fully tested yet.

You should be able to move it, settings -> apps -> select application -> move to sd, this of course depends on your OS and if LG allows it.

Tried that first, did not work. Move to sd card is grsyed out for everything

Did quick towelroot on it.
Will dig a bit more tonight see if lollipop is available for this phone.
I must say its a quite nice phone, fast.
Compares well to my S4 mini

Ah ok I see you added link for towelroot.
Not installed titanium yet only es file explorer
