The LF20 does have USB input, but not sure what video formats it supports though...
That is a good price for the LF20! And even though it is a "bottom of the range" (to quote myself, lol) TV, its still very good.
Cats digital has the LD460 for R8999
http://www.catsdigital.co.za/lcd-led-television/lcd-tv/lg-lcd-tv/ld460-series.html but they are generally a bit negotiable if you push them
So its R1300 odd more for the LD460, which in my opinion is really worth it! Slightly better response time (great for games and movies) and better contrast ratio (ignore the grossly exaggerated numbers, just know that its better

) and its a later model.
Its really hard too say if they are worth the extra money! The 100hz is really good for normal TV viewing and sports, but generally better turned off for movies and games. What will the TV mostly be used for? The D550 does have an even higher contrast ratio, faster response time, more HDMI inputs... Its a hard call...
If you have a budget, don't blow it too much if you don't think you can. Have a look at the LG website and compare a few models. See if you can find any online reviews as well.
Haha, its really hard trying to decide!
