They are very decent monitors ... the Samsung and Sony are better brands, and generally better TV's ... but you won't dislike the LG. Besides ... Once it is in your home, neither you or anyone can see it side by side to a Samsung or Sony and it will look great. I have an LG at home and I'm happy with it. Although my PC monitor is a Samsung

I'm not sure the model number ... I think it is 37LC2RR or something like that ... it is the 37" Time Machine model. Does cats not have the one you want? Maybe look at the LB9 Panther ... its a bit more, but nice unit ... or the new LG30 series too?

I'd say you must just go in and decide if you like that or the Sony 32S310 more ... they both about on par ... maybe the LG in this case is a bit nicer.
