Hi

I wonder if anyone can please help me.

A friend bought a G2 from a guy on gumtree (yes i know) and well the guy said if issues he had proof of upgrade.
Now my friend is having reception issues. And guy cant be located. Cellc are demanding proof of upgrade
Is there anywhere or anyone that can repair this device under the manufacturer warranty

Location? Cell C by woodmead might help... I sent in my BB in Fourways without it and all was good

Has your friend tried contacting the LG service center and asking them directly?

I emailed them because I had a query about my G2 earlier in the year and their response time was quite quick.

As an aside, its strange that Cell C are being so pedantic. Assuming that the phone was actually obtained through Cell C they would be able to pick it up by checking the IMEI number for the device.
