LG S360 and GoogleTalk.

Anyone tried Google Talk with the LG S360? Skype is too expensive and keeps breaking up on Edge.

Yes. When I use my Mot V360 which is Edge the voice cuts out and is staggered. If you know what I mean. The LG also has Edge. So the same must apply. 3G is smooth, but the LG has not got 3G.
When I use GoogleTalk it is much better on Edge and 30% cheaper than Skype.
Has anyone used GT with the LG?

Mxit connects to your google talk contacts.

You can also try www.ebuddy.com, it connects to multiple chat servers incl skype and gtalk.

What I mean is when I use the Phone as a modem on my laptop. Has anyone tried Gtalk or Ebuddy? Voice, not messaging. I do not have this phone but if it works I will buy one.

As a modem via laptop and voice calls.
I don't use Skype as it uses 3* more MB than Google Talk.

No. Not at this stage. They are slowly improving it.
