Anyone that has an LG LCD, any model but preferably the LG W2343T-PF 23"? I just need a bit of feedback on if LG is decent in the LCD market .... always had an Asus or Samsung :)

The screens are fine. Same level as Samsung. But, they break more often and receive worse after-sales service/slower warranty swap-out.

I've now made a point of not selling LG PC LCDs any more. Stick to Samsung or Asus. Man, Asus make some good quality screens, and are very competitive.

I agree, LG's quality isn't the greatest. Another vote for Samsung from me.

:)

Although I must say, the new 23" LG IPS at ±R2,000 is very tempting. :p

Awful stand though. Waiting to see what Samsung brings out... :)

In my work environment we've had to send about 60 LGs back to the supplier for repairs this year, all the PSUs started to fail inside the monitors. Must have been a bad batch, but even so their build quality just doesn't match Sammy. Think I'd rather pay a slight premium and get the Samsung (I say this whilst typing on my LG screen lol)

I have this monitor and the one prior to it. Both deliver great quality and I haven't had a single issue with either of them (I use them daily). Nothing against Samsung or Asus, I just got these at a really good price and they are top quality.

+1, am waiting for a 19" and a 22" to come back from repairs. Both blown power supplies

No offence, but in the greater scheme of things, personal experience bears no relevance.

Numbers/volume bears relevance. And LG's break more and are subject to worse after-sales service. :)

The screens are not to bad but have some firmware/software issues.

And they have a no-swopout-unless->5-pixels dead/stuck policy, which sucks donkey doodahs.

Update on the 19" I sent away - it was a blown inverter, according to the manager. LG screens are cheap as chips though. I guess you get what you pay for
