Who has a LG Smart TV running WebOS 3.5 with Plex installed? How did you do it?

I saw that , but did not read past the 1st few posts. Thanks.

** edit: Seems like there are still issues:

A week ago I bought an LG 60-UJ6300. As a long-time Plex user, I was excited to see Plex available in the app store, but to date have not been able to get it to actually plan any videos. Using the native video player, I was able to successfully the same files without issue (except when the audio is ATMOS encoded). I tried XPLAY and found the interface to be not on par with either Plex or the native player (which shows the poster but not the description).

An update to the LGwebOS app would be greatly appreciated.

Are you having issues installing it or running it?

It should just be there in the LG Content Store when searching for Plex.

Just planning for when I get the TV, so I know whats what.

So far I only need Plex and Showmax for the vrou.

Yes I gather that, but seems there are still issue, see post #3, that was posted yesterday on the Plex forum.

That could very much be user error or configuration.

Like not having internet access to the TV and configuring Plex to exclude the LAN for authentication etc.
