LG V20

I still wind up charging it up a bit when I get home, but that's new phone syndrome.

It's good to keep a Lithium ion battery charged up, not to 100%, but if you top from around 50% to 80% you will be fine, you are actually maintaining the battery very well.

I used to run my note 2 down to 5℅ or empty, then charge overnight to full. Did that for almost 5 years and that battery never got weaker. However, I substantially increased the the battery usage on it when I switched to cyanogenmod ROM.

I'm hoping at some point a reliable root method comes out for this so that I can clear the stock bloat and block ads. Unfortunately not many are focusing on the H990 right now. Not sure LG is offering the bootloader unlock keys for the H990 right now. I saw they had for some of the versions, but I think h990 isn't there yet.

Contact me if you want a v20 for R8 000 with balance of 2 months warranty. Around 2 months old

Does anyone's V20 get warm near the camera? Also how does one reload a clean Official V20 rom
That's called a factory reset. :) Not sure you can roll back an OTA update though, if that's what you were wanting to do.

Most of the mainboard is up around the camera area, so it's going to heat up a bit depending on what you are doing. Gets even hotter if you use the cameras. To be expected.

Thanks. I know some Chinese phones come with fake roms. And if you bought a v20 2nd hand how would you reload a fresh rom

Im working between s7 edge and v20. Find the phone too big and batt too weak.

Last me 8 hours on full charge.

Will revert to s7 edge
I see. Yeah, I'm finding the v20 doesn't last as long compared to my note 2, but then this screen eats more. My note 2 had CM though and that was way better on battery compared to stock ROM.

did you buy a fake V20?
if it is official, just do a factory reset.
If that runs another ROM then someone has done there homework. Bootloader should be unlocked though so that would be place to start to see if it is a non-stock ROM.

Ghostbuster, why is your NFC on? are you using it?

because if not, then turn that off same wiht bluetooth and wifi.
turn it on when you want to use it, because keeping it on for no reason makes your phone search for a connection all the time.

NFC is not so heavy on battery, but there is no point in having it on if you are not using it.

Managed to order the V20, currently on back order - but atleast confirmed for first week in Feb I will get it
