LG V20

Is it a dual sim V20 ? Can it take 2 sims AND an SD card at the same time ?
Beware the demo units in the Vodacom store. Some are demo only units from Korea that are dual sim. The phones Vodacom sell are single sim with micro SD slot only.

Ok, I'm looking for the V20 (H990), dual sim and dedicated microSDXC slot.

May have to order on eBay.

Got mine Thursday afternoon after a fruitless interaction with Telkom.
Very impressed so far. Battery easily lasts a full day for me so far and it is very efficient when in standby. Added a bunch of apps last night and still going strong. Hope to get to the shops tomorrow to pick up a 64gb SD, then I'll try out the audio.

Are you regretting getting the s7 edge now
Nope, not at all, there is still something about LG that I just can't pull myself to getting one, but this phone has peaked my interest in them, much like the Mate 9 with regards to Huawei, its the phone enthusiast in me :D

As I type this I am also looking to watch some Google Pixel XL and Lenovo Phab 2 Pro Reviews. Lol!

You have at least given them a chance, I don't believe I have ever owned an LG, lol, but the V series is drawing me closer.

I give Huawei 2 more years and I see them either sitting level with Samsung or surpassing them in sales, their story is very similar to Samsung's, just that they indeed climbed much faster.

As long as they dont become greedy and start pushing prices up. The huawei devices are getting better and better. They are ranked 3rd in the world now. So yes agree will give samsung major competition.

The g range LG devices i fo nd always had bad battery life so i never kept for long. Never anything close to samsung. Now with nougat and doze... The v20 might be a game changer for lg

Similar to Samsungs? How sure are you of that?

Tax evasion, bribery and price fixing...
Basically they were given unfair advantage to suppress the competition in exchange for bribes.

Its too late, the Mate 9 Porsche Design is $1300, they are gunning for that Premium Manufacturer title like Apple, Samsung and LG. Watch the Mate10 come very close to Galaxy Note pricing. Hopefully the P and P Lite series will be kept well priced.

That explains a lot, no wonder the G series never caught major traction, the G5 & Friends seems to have failed miserably. Are you going to get the V20?

What large corporation doesn't have skeletons in the closet? Apple, Samsung, Google, Microsoft, Yahoo!, etc etc etc... Have all had some kind of tax, bribery, price fixing etc... scandals. Lets not forget where Huawei is from, yeah? The country is not exactly known for prioritising Human Rights, lets please not be naive here. I'd hate to know how much corruption is in the Tech Industry in general, but I know not single one of these companies is clean.

What I meant was that Huawei and Samsung have a similar story in that they are businesses with fingers in every pie they can possibly get into, from Chip Fabrication to Network infrustructure, Huawei has one hell of a business going.

I don't know..... Trying to hold out until the s8 range

The reviews on the lg v20 camera is what makes me hesitant. My edge has a fantastic camera...
