I am desperately trying to get a lian li pc a7110.

Frontosa have them in stock (from what i've gathered) and need it by tomorrow - I however do not have an account with them.

Can anyone help?

If you're in Jhb, contact Prophecy.co.za
If you're in Cape Town, contact Postman Pot (member here on ADSL)

If you want to use someone's account to buy at dealer prices, please go and be cheapskate elsewhere.

i'm quite prepared to pay the markup of any dealer...

The problem is that I need the case by 2m

As I said: Contact Postman Pot if you're in Cape Town, I know he'll be able to help you by tomorrow.

You can call the online shops in Jhb as well, make sure to specify that you would maybe like to pick up the case yourself from Frontosa or something.

Bit harsh there mate...

I tried everyone I could charlie....

Thanks for the links....

Prophecy eventually promised to get the chassis by tomorrow :D

**** me! I just bought a HAF 932 and thought I was absolutely nuts for spending what I did, but the price on that case is simply madness! lol

dude - i just walked into Zaps (in randburg waterfront) and they have a few standing there on the steps....apparently the online shop sells, zapsonline the sales guy mentioned.

how fortuitous.

check em out.

http://www.zapsonline.com/45_lian-li?n=50&orderby=price&orderway=desc&p=2

about the 4th one down...

Then there service levels are shocking....

I phoned and asked and they said they will have to order and will take at least 2 days minimum after I go to the shop to pay them

well thats bull****.

i saw at least 3 standing on the stairs with the frontosa stickers on em.

if you are nearby, walk in and show them the money. asshats.

could be they are on order, but 2 of em had price tags on them...so doubtful...

Sure it was the exact model he is looking for?

Zaps Online and Zaps store are technically different entities.

They can't just take any item off of the floor and sell it to an online customer.

Also, Luxe..

Your post says it's the fourth one down.. the Lian-li pc-8Fi - Is that the one Requiem is looking for?

Zaps Online has often given me stock from the store, but that is 90% of the time stock that isn't likely to sell before they get more stock in.

Thats what I was thinking, I think he has the models mixed up.

Hi guys I work for Zaps and I see that there is still a bit of confusion between Zaps Online and Zaps itself.I think that it mostly stems from the fact that we have tried to make it as easy as possible for our customers by allowing them to pay and collect for online orders from the Zaps retail store.

I will try and explain it as simply as I can here - bullzeye is quite near the mark there with what he says in his post - Thanks b.

Zaps Online - Is purely an online store
They offer a huge variety of products - much more than you could keep in a retail store - but - as with most other online stores - they do not carry stock and will order what you need after you have placed your order.
If our supplier has stock their is a short waiting period whilst we organize the items from the suppliers.

Because the Online side does not carry stock and are not paying retail rental fees - they are the cheapest way to shop - but there will always be at least a one to two working days delay from when you have paid for your order to when you can collect or have the item delivered.

Zaps - This is purely a retail store
We do try to keep a large varied range of products in store but are limited by space - So if you see something on our site please do not take it as a given that we will have it in the Zaps store.

The big advantage of buying from the retail store is that there is no waiting for items that we have in stock. The drawback is that the retail side - because we have much higher overheads - LoL the rent alone is a killer - is the difference in pricing.

Hope this helps to clear things up a bit - Moody

What did you pay, i paid like 1.6k and it is the best investment ever.

People buy lian li and it is expensive with very little on offer.

Replace the side fan with 4 120mm fans for awesomeness :D.

Best thing about lian li is that there is no plastic anywhere. Other than that I find them lacking as well. Looking forward to the new Cooler Master Prototype (the one that can house the EVGA SR-2 mobo), otherwise thinking I'll be getting the new HAF-X or Corsair 800D :D Though the corsair needs so much moola

The chassis I bought is simply awesome. The hard drive mountings are beautiful. The entire chassis is light (compared to my old case this one weighs nothing....)

It is huge, is friendly to work with and everything is well designed... will post pics of the build

I paid R1400 and yeah totally agree. I absolutely love this case.

Quiet and cool.
