Liberty rewards Program

Just got a call from my advisor telling me about the Liberty Rewards program. Is anyone a member? It's R129 per month and you get a few benefits. Similar to Discovery Vitality I suppose.

The rewards that catch my eye are the 40% off Mango flights and 80% off at Virgin Active or R80 per month at Planet FItness and 2% off Prepaid Electricity.

EDIT : If you have an existing Liberty Life policy and feel you will benefit from the deals offered then you should go for it. They are currently giving an 80% discount on the gym without needing to meet any criteria but they may impose minimum visits etc in due course. So if your gym is R450 and you get 80% off that is a R360 saving, for a cost of the rewards package of only R129.

There are minimum premiums for the qualifying policies of R400 or a R50k lump sum.

Had a quick look at the web, looks good, this might give Discovery and the rest of the "reward programs" out there some competition. I will need more info on the Virgin Active savings, only reason why I go to gym is because of the program Discovery have, I would have never paid out of my pocket for the gym. Discovery health prices are escalating every year and if the Liberty rewards are OK, I will definitely not miss discovery health if I find a better, cost effective medical aid.
