Hi guys,

I see a certificate added to my return from Liberty. Saying they gave me some pay-out...

This has never happened I didn't get no pay out nor do I have any liberty policies. I assumed it might be from an old employer or something. Tried to get answers from Liberty to no avail. How do I dispute this with SARS? I don't see such an option on e-filling. I'm not suppose to pay tax on something I'm 100% sure is not mine and what? I must just bend over and take it?

You can dispute the ITR34? There should be a dispute button.

Can't help much beyond that.

I tired, maybe dispute it as a whole and then just submit my IRP5.

Thing is, Liberty can't be arsed by my dealings with them. So unless it's a dispute coming for SARS they are just not phased for some reason. Like as long as someone is paying the tax they don't mind...

You'll most likely get most joy from a visit to your local SARS branch.
