Anyone using this as a full time replacement for MS Office? Started using it yesterday and so far so good. I'm using it in conjunction with an Office 365 sub (for the mammoth storage) and surprisingly it works better than MS Office in this regard (don't know how MS managed that).

It's also bonus that MS products can open files saved as open documents. Will see how this pans out.

After using MS Office for many years at work, I switched to Libre Office when I retired, and could not justify the expense of MS products like Word & Excel. I've been using Libre for the past 5 years, and it meets all my needs.

I have a guy in the office who has a full license for MS office but refuses to use it, he far prefers Libre and uses that instead.

I use LibreOffice at home, since the OOo days. Sometimes I'll switch to Kingsoft for a while, but keep returning to Libre.
I use MS Office at work, though, forced onto us by standards etc.

What standards exactly? Are there file types that MS can open that Libre can not?

Same as the others - MS Office at work and LibreOffice at home. This is despite having an MS Office installation at home.

IMHO wps is better.

Libre also working great on my side. Based on reviews, Libre seems to work better with MS docs than Kingsoft.
Anyone using OpenOffice?

Another great option is WPS/Kingsoft Office.

We use this on our PCs at the office that don't require Outlook. It's actually quite good looking.

I however haven't found an Excel replacement. None of them are as good as MS Excel.
