What does the future hold for Telkom once it sheds its stake in Vodacom?

If Telkom were to crash and burn, we'd be stuck with the likes of iBurst and Neotel. I'd take Telkom any day.

If we had another player who could offer ADSL, I'd be glad to see the back of Telkom as well. Sadly, there is no viable alternative just yet (I'm glaring at you Neotel).

Theyll survive, they know its not as easy as it was before even with Voda.
If they up their game and their service delivery and product innovation, ye theres light after Voda, duh!

The remaining 35% will be unbundled to Telkom shareholders and listed on the JSE.

So the shareholders of telkom is stil going to keep 35% stake in vodacom. It's just not going to be Telkom corporate holdings anymore.
