Lightning destroys school computers

Rustenburg - Over 30 computers were damaged when a computer laboratory at Lekwakwa Primary School in Tlhabane near Rustenburg was struck by lightning on Tuesday, the education department said.

“Thirty-six computers, computer equipment, cables, tables, chairs, textbooks are burnt to ashes. Ceiling and roofing also needs to be repaired,” said spokesman Elias Malindi.

“Community members who are in the school vicinity were woken up by a blaze at the school and rushed to quench to the fire with fire extinguishers that are mounted at the computer laboratory. Fire fighters were also called in to tackle the blaze.”

Tables and chairs?

Textbooks too?

What about the insurance files and documentation? Where those "protected?"
 
Students who don't want to study burn their own schools down, but when they do, it gets struck by lightning and burned down.
