Previously, about once a day I would get 'limited connectivity' but simply restarting the router would sort it out. Now however, restarting doesn't even work, it remains limited and troubleshooting says that I cannot connect to the DNS server. After a few minutes I can connect, but then it goes back to normal. I understand it's probably something related to the router, but how do I sort this annoying problem out, or what information must i give(like my current ip address, dns...) so that you can help? I tried flushing the DNS, changing my DNS to Google's and then Telkom's, resetting my network adapter, resetting my router to defaults, switching off ipv6 , etc...but nothing works.:erm:.

Try a constant ping to Google dns and check for packet loss.
8.8.8.8

Also do the same ping to your router.

What do the router logs say? Is the connection dropping or does it only effect dns?

Set your routers DNS to Google's, that is what solved a similar issue for me, although mine had more to do with Virtual Machines...
