So if one speaks Afrikaans then it means they are able to lead? I don't the point of this thread. It's "Lindiwe", not "Lindiwi". Does she speak any Xhosa/Zulu or Tswana/Sotho? This mentality of being impressed with black people that speak Afrikaans well is so old fashioned. I can go further and say that being impressed with a black person that speaks English fluently and with a "polished" accent is so old school. Lindiwe will find it extremely difficult to attract black people if she keeps on speaking Afrikaans and making it as if she is trying to impress whites. She will attract black votes though if she delivers services to blacks and have that overshadow her perceived "alliance" with white. Unfortunately, even though we don't want to admit it, we are racially divided and that's why I've said those things.
