My line rate in Kbps is 1,280 down / 512 up

but I always capped at 512 down / 384 up!!

when I go to online speedtest it shows around 525 down & 397 up

Is there anything I can do to uncap or maxing bandwidth to the rate of the line?

I'm using Speedtouch 585v6 router w/ latest firmware 8.2.2.5

That figures in your router can't be right.

Are you in South Africa? Which data package are you using and from which ISP?

can you post a screen shot of your speed test?

It can be right in my opinion.

I'm at my bro's place for a few days. We had a 4mbps line, synced fine @ 4096 for close to a year and all of a sudden it's down by itself.

Currently syncing at 3840 kbps / 448 kbps.

The line he has is probably a 4meg line that can't sync well enough downstream. No biggy.

Sorry I didn't mention I'm from Kuwait, the ISP here called Qualitynet using 512/256 package

They gave me 512 on a 1,280 Line!!! I don't think it's from my router as many people in this country has the same package but their lines aren't(or isn't?) that high using different modems

 ahhhh...

Your ISP is probably limiting your throughput on your ISP account itself. You'll need to speak to them ;)

lol
I thought my first post ever would be something meaningful, but it was just a lol DLP.

Why lol? We've helped many nations across the world with their technology gripes. All sorts, ;)
