'Line cannot be fixed again' - Telkom Technician

The disciples of satan have stolen cables in my business' area (Hennopspark, Centurion) 2.5 weeks back. Telkom aledges they have in the meantime replaced the cable but my premises have been left without connectivity since then. The Telkom technician now states that he does not know how my line can be fixed again. Is there anyone that knows anything about something that can say how I should progress with Telkom from here as the 10217 call centre is just referring me to the technician that has in turn no plan ? The *******s have me in their clutches as there is no alternative (I seem to lie within a Neotel signal doldrum). What can I do ?

Sorry for laughing, but you really have to hand it to telkom and their technicians for not giving a **** in your face. "Oh sorry sir, I don't know how your line can be fixed, ok. bye. have a nice day" Like it is perfectly normal to just throw your hands in the air and move on. Not "I am kind of at wit's end here, I'll refer it to my superior, because you are going to need your internet connection after all" ... No, to them it's nothing, oh **** you don't have internet anymore, hmm bummer.
 
I have reported Neotel to Icasa 3-4yrs ago......still waiting.......they basically telling you in a nice way that you should cancel and move on to someone else...
 
Have you asked the technician to put you through to his manager?
I would also place another call so that you can put in a formal complaint about the technician and that the previous fault is not fixed.
 
Line was fixable after all - you just need to help Telkom understand that
