Line drops when phone rings...

Hey guys, I play COD4 online competitively.

Recently, my flatmate got a new girlfriend, and while they're on the phone, my line drops the whole time.
It seems to happen more when she calls him and our phone rings..

Any way to fix this?

It's a 4MB line...

Check that you have filters on the line for each telephone or try replacing them.

I also had the same problem, same game, same line, hehe

We have 3x phones in our house, and it was the phone in my parents room that didn't have a ADSL Filter on, which was the cause of the problem.

So, install ADSL filters @ each telephone you got in the house

Replace the filters/make sure they're installed properly.

Had the same problem a while ago.

Check your filters, but if that's not the problem (as in my case)

Its a problem with the quality of your line. What tends to happen is that as someone phones, your SNR ratio on your line drops below the minimum required to sync at 4mb. In this case you have no option but to phone and complain to Telkom until they fix your line.
