hello, is anyone else having issues with adsl in moreleta park area....
My line has been having problem for 4 month +-, mweb keeps on escalating but nothing happens, and now I am down for 2 days yet again......

What will be considered as "good" snr attenuation rates and "good" margins on a 4 MB line???

Number one reason why we say ALWAYS leave your line with Telkom. NEVER give it to an ISP.

What will be considered as "good" snr attenuation rates and "good" margins on a 4 MB line???

SNR Margin (Downstream): 18.0 db
Line Attenuation (Upstream): 24.5 db
Line Attenuation (Downstream): 44.5 db

how is this looking?

6 Mbps seems about right.

am i not supposed to get closer to 6mb........
and can i request from telkom that they make my exchange a ADSL multi\adsl2+ network? becuase according to telkom test your line site my max is 4mb

5 Mbps seems fine to me compared to a 6 Mbps line.

OK thank you very much, just now the adsl2+ question will i be able to do it and how, and how long will it take plus minus??

Finally my line has been sorted, telkom finally cought a wake up and cam to my house to test, and the problem WAS ON THE DSLan like i stated in the first month!!!!!!!!
Broken connection!!!!!!!

Its all the exclamation marks...they tend to break DSLAMs.
