Line-in recording?

Does anyone know of a cell phone that does line in recording?

Do the N81 or N82 do it...?

No, I want to know if I can plug in a device such as an external microphone, tape player, cd player and record what they are playing.

Both N81 and N82 have regular audio jacks... so it makes me think that they should be able to record.

Yeah they have audio jacks - but that is not INPUT it is OUTPUT jacks

OK. Some MP3 players use the same jack for output as they do for recording... But I guess no one has thought of a mobile phone doing that..?
