Hi All,

I am at my wits' end! My line has been down for over a week, every single time I contact telkom I get told that it is with the testing centre and a technician has not been assigned! Over a week and they cant even confirm there is an issue!

I am in a 24 month contract with 7 months left, anyway I can get away from this useless company?!

I don't think you would get away with contract termination due to failure to provide service. I have never heard anyone taking on telstupid and win. Or don't we have the balls. Yea I dunno. They usually take two weeks to do the most simple

It is unbelievable! A week to figure out why my line is syncing at 93Kb down and 450kb up...

Drive round, see techie.
Approach techie - throw pokeball.
Profit.

Side note, this may not work with all techies - the better the techie, the harder the "capture" will be.**

**Loosely based on my own experience of throwing money at a Telkom technician

Techie reliability sold seperately

you still have at least another week to wait.

All my call outs with Telkom have been a minimum of a two week waiting period (at the best) and the longest being 2 months.

Good luck

If it is anywhere near 2 months, I will put a stop order on the debit order and they can stick their line!

I will go to a Wisp!

What's a testing centre? When you report a fault, your line gets tested before you even receive the fault reference number.

Its an automated process.
