Line speed in Vereeniging

I used to live in Three Rivers. My 10Mb line was getting +/- 8Mbps speeds with 5-15ms ping once they put me on a different physical port. I fought for 8 months informing them that the actual port at the exchange is faulty, but no one wanted to listen to me :/

Call them, better yet, find a guy that is out and about and ask him if he can help you out.
 
We have had Telkom out with M-Web to try and resolve the ussue. It is definitely a Telkom issue, their techie says that there is simply too much traffic in the area for the available infrastructure. Live with it! I reduced to a 1 MB line as it makes no difference if you have a 1MB or 4 MB line. So nice to get 3% of what I am paying for, don't you just love leaving 97% on the table?
 
What results do you get when you run a traceroute? Also post your modem stats, maybe we can find the fault.

I live in Arcon Park Vereeniging. My 4mb line with MWEb, PIng is usually below 18ms and download speed at 5.2mb on saix speedtest.
