Are these considered good? My ISP is saying I need to drop my line speed for better stability.

ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 4096 kbps 512 kbps
Line Attenuation 5.0 db 4.0 db
Noise Margin 30.1 db 27.0 db

Noise Margin 30.1 db 27.0 db

The signal to noise ratio appears to be good (noise is often the cause of dropped sessions). I understand that Telkom's min requirement is 12dB.

Also try to see if there is a firmware upgrade for your modem.

Is there software available to test line stats? And a benchmark to compare results?

Maybe my mind is playing tricks on me but those stats look incredibly good!

My attenuation is in the 40s and margin is less than 10 so if you're not having speed or sync issues then don't touch the line!

Juggy, you don't really get better stats than those! If you are not having any problems then do no change anything!

When using the bonded solution from Tech Concepts bonding 2 lines with exactly the same stats we get resets when heavy traffic is run over the bonded line.

When we use the lines separately there are no issues at all. I'm rather confused to be honest.

Oh, right. Well, I cannot comment on bonded lines as I do not have any experience with them - sorry. Hope someone else can give you feedback / hope you sort it out.
