I've been having some trouble with my Adsl line not syncing at the correct speed (5mbps instead of 8mbps) and intermittent disconnects. I reported it to my ISP (Afrihost) and after over a month of telling me the problem is on my end (I even replaced my router at their suggestion) with little change they finally tell me it is a Telkom problem and a fault had been logged.
Telkom technician comes out, says problem is fixed, it goes better for a week, sync at 8mbps and very few disconnects. That was 2 weeks ago, now my line is syncing at 3.5mbps and the disconnects are still happening. Report the problem to Afrihost, and again I get the checklist to test my devices which I have done multiple times already
Browsing I can do but streaming and gaming is near impossible, is there anything else I can do to get this fixed once and for all?
