...what's new...this has been happening frequently over the month or so and does not seem to be getting resolved. We pay a fortune for the ADSL service and 50% of the time it's down...
I suppose that's what they mean by "best effort service"

This has happened around month end for the last 6 months!

It can no longer be seen as coincidence. Conspiracy? YES. Telkom is deliberately doing something.

People trying to finish their cap at the end of the month? It can't be the "abusers".. they finished their cap long ago and now they 'wasting' their local ... so whats the problem?

Telkom are limiting their spend in order to reap bigger profits. As they only offer a 'no effort' service, and there's no alternative supplier, there's nothing one can do about it.
