Hi @AfriGuy @AfriNatic
I have Link Layer as the FNO with you as the ISP. As of 1 March the FNO would have changed to Evotel as per your communications to me. No changes were needed on my side according to your comms also.
I have been experiencing intermittent breaks in my internet connection and intermittent poor speeds. Netflix, Disney also seem to suffer with buffering on my 100/100 Mbps line.
I did open a ticket (264194) last night and spent an hour with the rep troubleshooting incl. the rep refreshing my profile. This did not help. The Link layer tech came out today and tested the line. He cleaned the connectors and was able to get a power value improvement from 9 to 6 , plus his other readings were fine and he said that there are no issues with the line.
I've done a trace route and you can see how my traffic is bouncing around (pic1) - I suspect that the engineers with have done some routing or other config changes that are the issue here.
I am also attaching a second trace route (pic 2) - from another premises where link layer is the FNO and WebAfrica the ISP - clearly there is a huge difference and no issues with that connection
