They've turned into a bloody pansy band.... we want the old Linkin Park back...
 
Their new song, Burn It Down, is quite catchy.

Just a pity the lost their hardcore'ish taste.
 
well come one, apparently they going back to their roots with this new album, although it won't sound exactly the same as their first two. But i am glad all their albums sounds new and fresh.:)
 
After Hybrid Theory they kind of went down hill. Yeah I will get it, I am a fan but wish they could go back to their old ways... :(
 
Will listen to it before deciding. The last one was poo imo, only 1 song that I liked, vs the usual only 1 song I didnt like
 
I have some hope for their new album as it is been Produced by Rick Ruben (who produced their first album) So Im expecting a more raw edgy sound to it.
 
I'm afraid that the first two Linkin Park albums have made me like some pathetic wife -- repeatedly taking in her husband after he has disappointed her time and time again. So yes, I am excited that there's new material on its way, but I'm also bracing myself for the possible (inevitable?) disappointment.

It's just so damn frustrating when I listen to previously unreleased tracks on Songs from the Underground and have to admit that they're better than most tracks on the last two albums.

Sorry to burst your bubble (and admittedly, mine too) but Rubin was the producer of the last two albums (Minutes to Midnight and A Thousand Suns). Don Gilmore produced the first two. :(
