links disabled in outlook after disabling internet explorer server 2016

Hello folks.

I found one post on another forum that did not answer or solve the problem. I have disabled IE on Server 2016. Now hyperlinks in Outlook 2013 are not working. Error message: "Your organization's policies are preventing us from completing this action for you."

Any suggestions? Thank you.

Quite a lot to try. I don't find "Link Handling" under options/advanced. Will continue trying the other items you posted and revert.

P.S. It is Office 2013

Office 365 but it should be similar. Setting the default in Windows should work. Hopefully
