Linksys 354G wireless question?

My computer connected to the modem wireless. it is working well. But one day, my friend bring his notebook and try to connect to the modem. He cannot connected. You know why?

Must I change anysetting in the modem?
 
No, the problem is most likely with his notebook, play around with his wireless options, like remove the previous networks that he was on which would show a list in one of the options....
