I need help.

I'm not too familiar with the 3G Router, and troubleshooting it is quite tricky(for me). When a customer comes in with one, i have to suck things out of my tongue, and eventually get to be where i want to be.

I found a link though to the Linksys troubleshooting site, where it like takes you step by step through a whole process to a conclusion. Downside is, its hard to use. Becoz what you are experiencing, isnt neccesarily there.

The routers i have had come in, had the problem during installation. It gets to the step where it checks the PC's configuration. Then asks for the password(default admin). Once you click next, it loops the process and doesnt go beyond that point.

The other thing i noticed was in the steps to completing the installation, theres a step where it asks you to check the LED's on the router, and that one ethernet, the power, and the internet LED MUST be lit. With the router i had, that Internet LED was never lit.

Any advice guys?

The internet LED is only for when you connect a ADSL/Cable link. It is the "3G/UMTS" LED that should be lit.

Yes. That light was lit. But it still doesnt explain why it loops the "Checking PC's configuration" step.
