I've looked through every nook and cranny on this device but I can't find where one sets the time and date.

The reason is for the firewall log, pretty pointless if it says 01-01-1970.

Any ideas?

They don't have builtin clocks. Normally there's an ntp client builtin so that it sync's time upstream using a timeserver on the .net, but I cannot recall if the wag actually had that functionality.

Thanks RoDent, I haven't been able to find any clock setting of any kind which seams kind of silly considering log dates and times are of paramount importance.

I have the WAG54G - the status page shows the correct time and the Basic Setup page has a timezone setting at the bottom. Cannot remember actively changing anything except the timezone.

Oh, and it is Firmware Version: 1.01.6

my little piece of heaven also shows me a reminder of simpler days :P

It could be beacause mine was only connected to the net only once and was unable to update from whereever it is set to update from?

Im still to get the big T to upgrade me :(
