Linux for my OS?

I downloaded Ubuntu 7.10 , Redhet , Xubuntu and edUbuntu. All of them are exelent but I can not run my games on them.Why not?I dont know if you guys saw the dektop multiplier that you can download for Linux that turns your pc into 10 PC's!
