Linux ipw PPP driver reconnection

Hi all,

Does anyone know if the Linux ipw driver is able to disconnect and reconnect? My problem: When I disconnect and kill the pppd deamon the ipw modem doesn't seem to respond to AT commands anymore. This means that any reconnection attempts are doomed to fail. Is there some graceful shutdown procedure I should follow to reenable the AT command set.

Just saw at http://www.neology.co.za/products/opensource/ipwireless/ that version 0.4 might fix the problem. Will try it on Monday.
