Has anybody successfully managed 2 setup up a linux based NAT router using a desktop Iburst modem that allows multiple windows machines to access the link?

If so please tell me what packages you used!

Thanx

Fedora with PPPoE (dev ppp0) and iptables for firewall and NAT.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Gone with IPCOP and it was really easy! Just one more question - nebody know of an SMTP server add-on for it? can't seem to find one. Probably looking in all the wrong places as usual. 8-)

Thanks again.

fiber - try sendmail - d'oh.

it's not included with ipcop though, and ipcop lacks many development tools, so compiling your own will be difficult ;-)

my ipcop doesn't have: make ; install ; gcc ; cpp
but I think there is a built-in package managment system try google.
