Please can someone help me. I am trying to get my networking to work in Linux (Ubuntu Gutsy). I have the Telkom Mega 105WR router. This modem works as both a router and a bridge automatically.
The internet works fine when connected via eth0 and when the 105WR is working as a router. However, it gets tricky when I want to change to another internet account! I was trying to set up routing as mentioned in this tutorial: http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?t=71477
I tried to set up pppoe, but I can't access the account because route -n still relies on the eth0 connection alone.
Can someone please help me to configure this such that I can turn pppoe on and off when I want to access the second account if this is possible?
If possible, otherwise, maybe I can turn off the router part of the Mega105WR and just use PPPoE?
