Sheesh. I'm running Linux Mandrake 10.1 Community.
I've installed the newest version of eciadsl.
Now the problems start. If my modem is plugged in at boottime, linux refuses to go past "checking new hardware".
If I plug it in after boot, linux disables IRQ 21. Which I guess is the USB hub which my modem's plugged into. Running eciadsl-device-probe....surprise! It hangs. I've disabled dabusb. I've scoured the internet for a solution...to no avail...help?! Is hotplug to blame?!
ANY help will be appreciated.
Oh, yeah, I've got a Dynalink ALE070 modem.
