Morning guys,

family member wanted to have scott@****.co.za email address for their business, so i suggested afrihost option as its quick and easy and thats what we did, we got the windows hosting option from them and its been going fine ever since.

but now they want a website, i see there is a easy website builder they could use if i changed from windows to a linux basted hosting option, my question is what are the negative points / positive points for changing ? any help would really be appreciated.

To be honest I've never really worked very much with Windows hosting platforms however I can assure you Linux hosting is easy as pie. If you open your Cpanel in the clientzone scroll down to Softaculous and you can install a bunch of different cms platforms with a few clicks. Just make sure you select a hosting plan with at least 1 MySQL database.

Once you select which cms you want to use (e.g. Wordpress, Joomla, drupal, etc) then it's just a matter of putting your site together from there.
