Linuxdeploy, anyone tried it?

Looking at linux deploy I thought it might go and tried it... but... not sure if I want my note in loop-loop mode as well

I've been using Complete Linux Installer for some time, used Linux Deploy too. They all use the same mechanism; a chroot environment based off a disk image somewhere on your sd card. Just run the app and it loads the disk image from terminal. Obviously you need a rooted phone for this.

Had problems with the S4 initially, Samsung went ahead and changed internals plenty away from the standard Android way of doing things. I needed to edit scripts, and rebuild the phone's kernel to allow these apps to run. But that was a few years ago and should be fixed now as far as these apps are concerned.

TL;DR There's no dual booting involved if you're afraid of that, it runs within Android. VNC sucks tho if you're planning on using that
