Lip balm for men

Diskem's in-house brand. Get the green Tea Tree one. It's all of R4,30.

Gives me none of the problems listed here and unlike just about all of the others, does not contain petroleum - which actually causes your lips to dry out. You will use a lot of less it - fact. :)

Is it just me or is Dischem's own brand really bad? I am referring to all products, not only lip balm! They are just substandard IMHO.

Zambuk skinks. Vaseline pure petroleum jelly does it for me :erm:

Lip Ice is like a drug, your lips get used to it and can't live without it.

Obviously men cannot use all Labello products, e.g. Pearly Shine which has a shiny pink effect on the lips :)

Try Labello's Mint and Minerals - smells nice and works well.

whats wrong with a 'lil pink ?

what does OC use ?

Tsek you! hehe.

I use Labello Pure (Mint & Minerals)...but I have the dark blue one for men also in my cupboard as my emergency stash for in case I leave my every day use one somewhere. :-) As I said before...I get into a state and my whole day is ruined if I dont have my Labello on me.

I use Vaseline Lip Therapy, I don't know why Unilevear doesn't sell them here in SA. I think I've got 3 left.

I've decided to try and quit using lip balm. The first couple of days were tough but my lips seem to have adapted now and are neither dry nor chapped and looking natural as opposed to that 'lip balmy' look. Will see how long I can go.

Bought a zambuk today. Didn't realize it cost less than R5!

I've been using Zambuk and find it quite effective, one application in the morning is generally sufficient, besides smelling like a koala bear.

Although I recently found out that Sassafras (0.62/100g) was banned by the FDA for it's carcinogenic potential and most sources recommend avoiding the use of camphor (1.66/100g).

Thought you'd given it up five years ago :). I've not used lip balm for a good few years and yeah my lips don't get as dry as they did.
