Liquid cooling loop?

now i need to decide on a loop configuration...

1.out the pump into the cpu, out the cpu, into the gpu, out the gpu, into the rad, out the rad, into the pump.

2.out the pump, into the cpu, out the cpu, into the rad, out the rad, into the gpu, out the gpu into the pump.

3.out the pump, into the gpu, out the gpu, into the rad, out the rad, into the cpu, out the cpu, into the pump.

4.ok there are a lot of options

Any ideas on which would be the best, a reason would be nice too just so i know why.

I'd go for the first option. That kit looks awesome. I hope you are using the Coolermaster Cosmos case as well

I so want to get that case but at R2500 i'm abit strapped for cash. Have the gigabyte 3d aurora which is water cooling compatible. Will have to wait till next month for a new case.

Maybe i should just get it all in one go... mission to have to move the system once i've installed it.

edit, also i see you have to mount the motherboard upside down... So my power cables might not be long enough :/

edit again, or atleast the psu is at the bottom (not upside down motherboard)... the length to the optical drives must be huge.

edit again, ok you bent my arm i'm getting the cosmos, even though the newer one is coming reviews point towards the older one (the 1000) for quiet computing and the newer S one for gaming as its loud with like so many fans.

instead of a new case you should just get better water cooling to be honest

its a little more expensive than that watercooling but the benefits are it does not sit inside the case

it totally silent and works really well, comes with both cpu and vga block northbridge is an add on so is memory

personally i think spending 2.5k on a box is crazy considering you have a box

rather spend it on a good watercooling system and not something entry level

although that watercooling looks pretty how does it perform is the question you should ask yourself

if your looking for pretty then get it, if you want silence and performance then look at this water cooling system

don't really want an external system, as i have read reviews on it and it is nice, i bought the aquagate first then realized i would prob need a bigger case after the fact, so yeah in hindsight i should have.

The aquagate's pump is rated for 450- 500 l per hour which is more than that ones 300l per hour. Have yet to see a review for the aquagate but it was displayed at (whats the latest pc show that had?) cooling cpu and 3 gpus in tri sli. There is a picture somewere.

But yeah if water cooling works out for me, next time i will make a diy version. Just abit hard to do that in sa as we have to personally import the pumps and stuff from overseas which is kinda lame at shipping costing half of what the items cost. Thats why i went for the pre made system.

I have a completely homemade water cooling system on my pc.. (I mean literally homemade, I carved the cooling blocks out of a slab of copper )

Instead of going from one component to the next, I just built two junction points that split out, go to the various components and come back into the other junction point.. works for me..

Unless you got the cash to splash on a Fancy Case I would rather just make my own PCV one then you can make it as large & as wide as you like!

BTW that Zalman Reserator 1 V2 Fanless Water Cooling System looks realy crazy!
