Hi folks,

can anyone kindly recommend where I can source a Liteon PSU unit or is Rectron the only place in CT? ... where I unfortunately do not have an account.

Any pointers appreciated, would like to source one tomorrow ;-)
 
As far as I know Rectron doesn't stock these, last I checked they only had Gigabyte, AOpen and Thermaltake PSU's. Doesn't look you can even get these in SA readily. Nothing on jump.co.za
 
The replacement unit is for a mini desktop emachine with an unusual PSU design. Can only be sourced through the distributor in JHB (3-4 weeks order - out of stock) @R 610 ex vat & no warranty being an internal unit & prefer only authorized dealers to replace. Anyway its cheaper to by a UPS than a new PSU for a desktop emachine!

If you have seen one of these on your travels let me know ;-)
 
Yep definitely the closest I have seen yet, but slightly too big to fit in the slimline case. Looking for a flex PSU - 220w L=200mm W= 90mm H=50mm.

Established the cause of the faulty PSU, can you believe a worm wiggled its way in & fried itself!
