I am just commenting on what I saw and who was calling troll its usually the same people, Its such a lame way to try and get out of an argument, its boring.

Why people so scared of personal attacks from a random internet person?

Playing the man and not the ball can get annoying, especially if on repeat, and the same "heated debate" topics.
But yeah totally get you - water off a duck's back. I think some people like to vent life's frustrations on random internet person that representing XY frustrations.
You know we have a mental health problem in SA? all this internalized frustrations/ high blood pressure/ guys dont talk etc.
 
Well by the looks of it, the ruling that classified the display of the old South African flag as hate speech will be overturned soon anyway.

Even with trade sanctions we where still selling arms in a very dodgy way, so sanctions can be blamed and large scale theft too. The ANC just carried on the corruption slimy bastards.

Everyone squabbling over the old flag, and this bad boy just keeps flapping in the wind. Let's not forget they were the ones who started apartheid, too - the Nats just perfected it.

And no other flag in human history can be associated with segregation across the globe as much as the good old Union Jack. It's even stamped on our old flag as a reminder.

Depending on who your sources are, the "sanctions" were only to uphold the public image of the West. Don't forget that we were the only ones fighting the Commies in Africa - and we were apparently secretly being funded to do it by the same countries who had blacklisted us.

Oh yes. SA was the epitome of peace and brotherly love before the white man set foot. FYI most people black, coloured and white aren't really bothered about the flag. Only you "woke" new age millennials that are stuck in the past and will never move past what you think was done to you.

That's still censorship and is the same thing they said. We aren't crying over the past or an old flag. We are mourning the loss this is to our freedom and the path towards a totalitarian fascist communist state. That is why countries that were exactly there took notice and displayed the flag in solidarity. If you do not want to listen to us you should at least stand up and take notice of them. They've lived it all before.

Streisand effect. It certainly put the (overdue) spotlight on certain things like freedom of speech and oppression. The swing had swung just as high from one bad to another bad with a bit of help.
