If I download the trial version, am I downloading the full game - but only unlocking if I pay?

For example I'm downing Ecco trial at 60MB. If I decide to buy later, will I need to download the full version?

I ask because my cap is only 1GB and downloading 60MB now is fine - but a further 100MB for the full version isn't so cool :/

Anyone bought Sonic or something?

Correct Dolby - by downloading the trail version, you are just infact downloading a "locked" version of the full game. If you pay to unlock the full version, you won't have to download the 60MB again (providing you don't delete it off the console of course).

I've not downloaded or played Sonic - but apparently it is awful. Geometry Wars is a really simple game - but is lots of fun. Same with Hexic (if you got a pro console Hexic comes free with it)

Yup - trial = locked full for sure - somehome I managed to unlock Catan by not being online once. (Subsequently bought it, it's a really cool/complex board game)

Generally I'd advise looking at the new games rather than the retro ports, although there are some gems there. Stand outs for me are: Alien Hominid, Small arms is amazing for a 50Mb game, EXIT which just came out is $10 for an awsome $30 PSP game, Worms is a classic, Wik is whacky and cool. Cloning clyde is awesome 2p co-op fun.

Metacritic has reviews of all the XBLA titles, but what I'd suggest is don't just look at the top 10, the games are all so cheap and accessible even the 50-69's are worth a download if they sound like your thing.
