Whoever watched the game yesterday...I think it's been the first time Liverpool have performed so well in many years!

They were robbed of victory by the poepal ref but they played an excellent game..
 
agreed, Styles should be banished to the championship for that disaster...

But at the same time we should learn to kill off the game so that idiotic referees cannot ruin it for us.

(Before anyone says anything Styles has been punished by the ruling body and suspended for next weekends game so it's not sour grapes from Liverpool fans)
 
Man he made dodgy decisions....well the sorry blues won't have that much luck next time...
 
but screw the ref chaps let commend liverpool on some awesome play
 
Torres looks awesome... He kept his head under great pressure to score that goal and then didn't allow himself to be provoked by the Chelsea players...

He seems up to the physical task that is the Premiership which is a good thing.... Gerrard and Carragher where once again superb and between Babel and Riise I don't know which one has the harder shot...

Styles' demotion is interesting to say the least. This is not the first time he or other referees have made high-profile blunders but action hardly ever is taken.

I wonder if it needs to be said here that Brian Barwick is a scouser...?
 
I didn't find Riise too impressive, however Kuyt, Torres and Babel really looked sweet, although they don't look like they're at the top of their game just yet.
 
Action is taken quite often though. A linesman was also punished for making mistakes in the last weekend as well....
 
liverpool are looking good and playing well but they still have a stupid way of thinking

when they are 1-0 they go more defensive, they did against villa and almost got burnt

they should have come out second half and finished off chelsea who never looked likely to score

liverpool must start hitting 2-3 goals and then go defensive

a 1 goal lead is one goal away from loosing to many point, i dont know how many times i've said:

dont sit and defend a 1 goal lead
 
Great game. We've actually outplayed them 4 out of the last 5 games :cool: No surprise Jose hates Rafa :D

Yeah we sat back after the goal. Also Crouch was brought on way to late again :mad:
 
yea and pennant was taken off when he the most dangerous player on the pitch

pennant running down the line whipping in cross for crouch

can you lotsa goals
 
If Pennant had stayed on, he would have got sent off. Jeez that boy has a temper on him..

Good player, but must learn to cope when things don't work out for him instead of getting frustrated and being a Spaniard (BF2 reference there ;) )
