Hello Mites
Maybe the financial gurus can give me some advice.
I have R80k invested in this a annuity, Allan Gray is the company. Now I would like to know what are the highest risk highest returns markets I may invest in?
Basically if it all goes pear shaped it will not be a train smash. I see it as a very low ROI.
Thanks
Da Spliffcat.

It's got me scratching me pip and smoke coming out of my ears.

Hi SS
been drawing the max 17.5. And investing it off shore. The question remains. What can I instruct my broker to purchase for the maximum return? Thanks.

Which off shore do you have?We have been looking at offshore options and there are so many I dont know where to start.

Nothing is guaranteed to outperform, especially if one doesn't know where the Rands price will go and you want to put it overseas. So no use growing 25% in Rands while the Rand fell 30% over the same term and then putting that money overseas. Then again, the Rand might go up 30% for all I know.

If it was me in this situation with that aim, I'd look at putting the whole LA into a US$ feeder fund. Since one is taking the 17.5% per year out and then putting it overseas immediately anyway.

You must also look at the possibility if you are allowed to commutate the full value of the LA...

Can you recommend a US feeder fund?

The Coronation Global Emerging Markets Flexible [ZAR] Fund is available on Allan Gray's platform - I would say this is the highest risk fund available.

Thank you Supersunbird. I'll go through the list this pm. And do research on the unit trusts.

Verde thanks for the info on Coronation.
